Paris match..... soo addictive

Well it's been a while since my last post ( more than 1 year.. duh!!)

Anyway..
This past couple of months, I've been addicted with Paris match............
Okay2.. I know what you're all thinking, it's not that French Magazine, but it's a jazz band.
J-jazz (Japanese Jazz) group to be precise.
According to Wikipedia :
this group formed in 1998 by composer/arranger Yosuke Sugiyama and lyricist Tai Furusawa with vocalist Mari Mizuno. They debuted in 2000 with the album volume one. The group's name is a homage to the British musical group The Style Council, whose album Café Bleu features a song titled "The Paris Match".
paris match's music is a fusion of diverse musical genres including bossa nova, jazz, acid-jazz, soul, blue-eyed soul, AOR, and house.

Firstly, I've been a fan of Japanese music for quite some time now. I also loves jazz (thanks to that Nat King Cole music cassette in the car which was the only cassette for many years... no choice, yes...). I listen to Laruku, Luna Sea, Anime songs, Al Jarreau, Frank Sinatra and other easy listening jazz.

Then few months ago, my friend offered me this album called Type III, after six and our favorite pop ( all of them are mp3 files offcourse ). At first, I listen to the album called after six, I felt a little bit bored with it's songs... next I tried Type III. Saturday; the first track played smoothly with soothing beat in my ears. "not bad..." that was I thought at first. On to the next track, I kept listening.. and the next track and so on.

The next day, "Saturday" became my first track of the day, replacing Jason Mraz's "Make it mine" which I always play every morning. That was the first time I addicted to this new band ^_^ .

Can't wait for another song from this band, I searched wikipedia as the easiest place to gather info and I found that there are more albums from them. after gathering information, I try to dig deeper to find those "missing albums" and found them nesting in raMrus's place.

As an everyday leecher, I started to leech all albums from raMrus (thank you buddy!!; really appeciate it ^3^ ).

From that day till the second I type this entry, Paris match is flying through my ears over and over...

~na na na na na Summer breeze.. ^_^
